October 6, 2019 6:19 PM - Season 2, Episode 1 - Subscribe

On Halloween night, a group of college students get trapped in a mysterious board game that brings their darkest secrets and fears to life.

A group of college students get together on Halloween night to commemorate the death of their friend Tony, who died the previous year. Since Tony enjoyed board games, the group decides to play "Uncanny Annie" as it seems straight forward and fits with the spooky theme of the night.

However, when they start to play, they discover that the game isn't so simple and the stakes are their very lives.

The last few movies in season 1 of Into the Dark were really strong and if you haven't already, I would recommend you take a look at Pure or I'm Just F*cking With You.

This was pretty much uninspired spooky Jumanji (one of the characters even says so). This is a good background movie. You don't need to pay attention to because there are no surprises. Otherwise, just pass this one over and put on Trick 'r Treat instead.

Thanks for the heads up! I am in theory the target audience for Into the Dark, but somehow so far I’ve only watched “The Body” and half of “The Treehouse” (which seemed like enough, despite the good cast). I’ve heard great things about “Culture Shock” and I almost managed to convince my SO we should watch “I’m Just Fucking With You;” maybe I’ll embrace the Huluween marketing push and try to binge them all before the end of the month.
