OK, this was one of the best episodes this season, maybe even one of the best of the whole show.

[And they are instantly overrun by surly birds]
It was a pretty good episode, but still lacking something in comparison to the peak Bob's Burgers episodes. Maybe it was a lower joke:story ratio, because some episodes are just packed. (I upgraded my rating from "good" to "pretty good," upon reading the A.V. Club review, which really looks at the episode and compares it to the potential for a live-action sitcom, and finds that animation provides some great flexibility that would require a huge budget in live action).
I really enjoyed everything with the spinning ride, from the kids trying to escape, only to be thrown back into their cars, and the adults bravely launching themselves into the whirling dervish, only to find it's really hard to stand up on a spinning platform.

I was unreasonably disappointed to not actually get to see Bob introduce Regular-Sized Rudy to Donna Summer.

I think Bob being alone and (increasingly) drunk was my favorite part of this episode. Plus it was good to see that his favorite pair of sweat pants from season 1 are still hanging in there.
