The fact that the John Birch Society came out swinging in favor of the supplement industry should have given them some pause, but they needed that sweet, sweet supplement money.

Even though it's always been this way as long as I've been alive, it's still a bit shocking they managed to equate "freedom" with "being able to buy whatever pills a fly-by-night company can jam into a bottle."
