Brooklyn Nine-Nine: The Jimmy Jab Games II
February 20, 2020 10:34 PM - Season 7, Episode 4 - Subscribe

Competitive juices are flowing as Jake and the squad compete in the second Jimmy Jab Games.

Terry leaves and puts Jake in charge. Fearing he is old and boring (he and Amy have just purchased a champagne-colored minivan), he announces the Jimmy Jab Games.

Boyle leads the circus of freaks as Jake, Amy, Hitchcock, Scully, Rosa, Holt, and Officer Debbie compete.

This was fun, I was worried that I'd get really sick of immature Jake, and at times it definitely strained a bit, but overall was fun and watching him limp to the finish was a solid end to the games.

I love Officer Debbie. "I’m sorry I messed everything up. I’m just not cut out for this high-stakes world of having fun with friends."

Yeah, Officer Debbie had some good lines - I also really enjoyed "I'm antidextrous. It's when neither hand is good at anything." Looking forward to whatever she plans to do with the drugs/guns from the evidence locker - I hope it's more interesting than just sell drugs.

I appreciated Holt and Rosa just sitting at the bar in their headphones. That's a good friendship.

Officer Frisbee is an excellent name for a dog.

My biggest laugh was “Okay. But only because I trust everyone.”

the primroses were over: Looking forward to whatever she plans to do with the drugs/guns from the evidence locker - I hope it's more interesting than just sell drugs.

LaToya Ferguson had a great guess in her recap: I’m hoping it’s all just some misunderstanding connected to her solving her sister’s murder.

I freaking love Debbie, she reminds me of an exaggerated version of me & I never see people like that on tv.

Officer Debbie is great. I don’t want her to be a bad guy. Enjoyed the pegging joke.

I also love Officer Debbie. She's an excellent replacement for Gina.

On rewatch I caught that Officer Holt does his meat-toss underhand, Rick Barry-style. Which is such a perfect touch. It is, after all, the logically superior throwing method.
