Taking a left turn into being a horror show now? I'm not against it. It's neat to see the supernatural elements becoming more overt, though I hope it doesn't get too ridiculous. I'm betting the ghost/devil has something to do with the Smutny/Roulette curse -- I wonder if that's the first time Ethelrida has seen him.

Loved that they found an excuse for Andrew Bird to whistle, even if Thurman is quickly proving himself to be just as stupid as he is sweet.

I wonder if the Christmas tree at the beginning was an intentional nod to season 3? It's all I could think about during that whole shot.

Also per Reddit, our first actual direct link to another season: Mort Kellerman of Fargo was the man Dodd Gehrhardt stabbed in the head in a flashback in season 2.

Yeah, that was unexpected - but this could be a case for unreliable narration.

I think that Ethelrida definitely knows the ghost, or at least has been visited by him many times. She seemed to know exactly what was going to happen.

Love the contrast with Murder Nurse that erotic asphyxiation is ok but no dirty words in this house mister!
