After losing his wife and memory in a car accident, a single father undergoes an experimental treatment that makes him question who he really is.
Nolan is raising his daughter, Ava, after losing his wife in car accident. He struggles to remember basic things like who is former boss is and where his daughter goes to school. His friend encourages him to seek help from a cutting edge neurologist to help restore his memories through an experimental treatment. But the memories he begins to recover don't mesh with what he's been told his life was like.
This is the first feature length film written and directed by Emmanuel Osei-Kuffour.

Black people are absolutely killing it in horror right now, so I'm definitely going to check this out. I watched His House last (?) week and was stunned. and obviously Jordan Peele is solidifying his position as a true master filmmaker.

The first 3/4 of this was amazing, I thought it fell off a bit towards the end.
The acting was universally spectacular, especially the daughter.
Black cinema is now where Spanish cinema was ten-fifteen years ago - where the best stuff is coming from IMO (especially in the "thoughtful horror" genre). I'm excited to see more from this director and cast.
