Warner Brothers Animation takes another pass at rebooting the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon. Tim Story (Barbershop, Fantastic Four) directs. Featuring Chloë Grace Moritz, Michael Peña, Rob Delaney, and Ken Jeong.

In theaters and streaming on HBO Max.

I mean, at least they don't talk. It's some bullshit when Tom and Jerry talk. I will give it that.

Hearing that they in fact don't talk released a massive psychic burden I didn't even know I was carrying. Thank you, I already know everything I need to know about this movie.

I found it admirably (if disconcertingly) committed to its reality. Every animal is animated, and by extension, when we’re shown meat being prepared in the hotel kitchen, even THAT is animated.

Gave it a try; bailed out after ten minutes; went and watched Kiki's Delivery Service instead which was delightful.
