Oh sorry, read in a review that if you wanted something like this but less crime, Soulmates on Amazon is good, I've added it to my Watchlist but haven't seen it yet.

I was tempted by this because I did watch Soulmates (and really liked it), but the trailer made it look too thriller-y.

I enjoyed it, it focuses more on the thriller aspects than the interpersonal aspects which is a shame as there is great LGBTQ++ representation!

I enjoyed this. I'd watched Soulmates and, although I enjoyed that, I wished it had been more episodic, with continuity of storylines, rather than stand-alone stories. I didn't mind The One being quite thriller-y, and I liked the way it ended, which I hadn't expected from the way the later episodes were going. It leaves the door open for a second series.

I particularly liked Hannah and Mark's storyline and from the way things developed there, particularly with that final hug that Megan deliberately contrived with Hannah, if this comes back for a second series, then I can see that storyline progressing too.
