Legends of Tomorrow: Silence of the Sonograms

While Ava channels her inner Clarice, Mick gives birth to 48 babies and names Gary as godfather. Meanwhile, Sara and Nick chat over chess, John (literally) battles his inner demon, and Zari enlists help from Spooner and Astra to figure out what's going on with her magical boyfriend.

The bit with Sara and Bishop and the six per cent of missing DNA made no sense. Shared DNA can't cause one person to read another's mind or copy their fighting style. A more plausible approach would have been to say he added her memories to his via the mind upload technology he used to transfer consciousness between clones.

I really do hope that Ava is able to figure out what she wants in a wedding and incorporate her own preferences.

I'm surprised Zari went to stay with John during his withdrawal. I was just expecting her to dump in and let him suffer alone. The more we see of her, the more we realize she's much deeper and nicer and more complex than the Dragon Girl influencer she originally seemed to be.

Mick's bugling eyeball during the birthing scene was funny. Normally, I don't care for those kind of goofy F/X, but it's Legends so the grading scale is completely different.

Both Kayla and Behrad were absent this episode. I don't know if those are related or unrelated situations.

I'm surprised Zari

Wherever this show goes I hope there's a Zari fights the universe spinoff.

If the Legends had a cat it would starve, because everyone would think someone else was feeding it. They're really not a team at all anymore and their escapades relate only to their tiny bubble of experience. It's really frustrating. They need some fresh blood in the writing room, or at least a squirt of air freshener.

Bishop's mannerisms are way too much like Gary's. It's distracting.

This season is really frustrating. I suppose it could just be a result of the effect of pandemic ennui on the writing and production, but it feels like the the good things about the show are deflating.

Sorry to bring the negativity. I hope they can recover, but at this point I'm pretty much watching out of habit.

I really don't know what to make of Bishop, but yeah, that's not how DNA works.
