Someone should have given Kimberly a job at the beginning of the season. Something that would have kept her busy, made her feel important, and slightly reduced the time she has to work on taking over the world. Something like contacting all the mothers, wives and daughters in the U.S. and gathering details for obituaries and then writing them.

It was kind of interesting when Marla told Kimberly that Regina was a nutcase, and later it becomes clear that Regina thinks *Kimberly* is crazy. Kimberly thinks if they can just take steps x and y again then everything will be okay again. I wondered whether she was lying to her mom about the destruction of their home, just to get her to give up on the idea.

I really hope 355 learns to trust people and let them help her at some point. But she did tell Allison that her family died when she was 12, which is a pretty significant revelation coming from her.

Kimberly's line that they'll once again be a "nation of mothers" was the first time I realized that this society is dealing with the same loss of future that the world has in Children of Men. Sure, there might be frozen embryos or sperm, but there's likely no future for the world as it exists, so what's the point of trying to restore society? Honestly, if Yorick's plotline disappeared, and this was just about what happens to the world now, I'd be just as happy (happier?) to watch it.

Someone should have given Kimberly a job at the beginning of the season.

I know they weren't strategizing beyond the next hour in the beginning, but giving all of the opposition women something to do would have been a great plan.

It was great to see Charlie Jane Anders' name on this episode too.

I just kept thinking that they were being awfully cavalier about cooking all that meat. Those animals are not going to be replaced as far as they know.

Whoa, I didn’t even think about the meat.

The showrunner studied bird chromosomes - chickens would be unaffected by the event.

Awesome that they thought about these details! Good catch, Fourmyle!
