I ADORED THIS

The premise - not of pitting contestants against each other, but of creating incentive for the team to support each other in order for EVERYONE to succeed, made me cry happy, happy tears. Far more compelling than the petty powerbroker garbage we usually get in US reality TV.

Strong Americas Next Top Model vibes, minus a lot of the toxic parts.

I really enjoyed this show! I'd watch more like it - everybody could have made it through and nobody had to be eliminated just because. They were supportive of each other and there was plenty of interest without overloading on interpersonal conflict. Made me appreciate Lizzo even more.

I don't know what made me watch this - I'm a white, middle-aged, straight-sized woman who isn't into dancing or reality shows, and though I respect Lizzo a ton, I'm not a huge fan of her music - but WOW. I absolutely LOVED this show.

I like to think of myself as an open-minded person who has no problem with nudity or sexuality, but this show made me think and feel and confront biases I didn't even know I had. It made me rethink what I think is sexy. It made me think deeply about dance and sexuality and what I'm uncomfortable with and why.

My head is still buzzing from all the different ways this show made me see how many cultural biases I've unconsciously held on to. What an unexpected gift. A huge thank you to Lizzo and to each of the 13 women who shared all their vulnerabilities with us. I have so much more to say but can't seem to get it out right, so I'll stop here.
