Yay, it's back! I don't think I'll get around to re-watching S1 & 2 in time to catch all the easter eggs that Thede says are in S3, but maybe after. I am going to make sure to pay more attention to the opening credits each episode this time, I didn't really notice that the S2 credits were changing as the season went on until near the end.

aaaaaahhhhhhh why is this show so good

I’m basically the opposite of this show’s theoretical target demographic, but even with that taken into consideration, this show still has one of the best hit-to-miss ratios of any sketch comedy show I’ve seen. I’m astonished at how effortlessly they pull off the double-twist where the end of a sketch recontextualizes what came before it, and continues being funny in the process. The “Trey’s Anatomy” bit was completely hat-on-a-hat but also it WORKED

Anyway everyone needs to be watching this show and it is a shameful disaster that it is not already considered a classic of sketch comedy

oh right I have meant to mention this for well over a year but I adore the fact that they basically adopted Podcast Titling where each episode title is just a funny phrase that happens at some point during the episode, rather than some sort of deliberate overarching theme
