Mozart in the Jungle: Opening Night
January 13, 2015 8:15 PM - Season 1, Episode 10 - Subscribe

Alex has advice. Ana proves difficult. Rodrigo connives. Cynthia has a kind word for the piccolo.

A nice happy ending. If there is a second season I can see that the Rodrigo and Hailey thing I mentioned back in episode 3 could well be a thing.

A result of watching this series has been that conductors are on my radar now, so: Carla Maria Tarditi – “I’ve been the victim of all kinds of sufferings,” she said.

Really enjoyed this show, which of course we watched in under a week. This was a pretty nice wrap-up for the season, while still leaving some threads dangling for season 2.

I don't get what the deal is with Marlon though who shows up again in the audience. Isn't he a phony? And yet he does seem to have money (buying the expensive oboe etc) but howcome he's sticking around if he's been found out by Lizzie?

Marlon was found out by Lizzie, but the rich women he's been bilking don't know (yet).

Glad to hear that it was renewed for a second season.

I love this show so much, I had to pace myself not to watch the entire first season in two days. The cast is brilliant. (RIP Union Bob, Mark Blum an early victim of Covid). The finale, I nearly cried, it was so note-perfect.

Also love how Maestro pronounces her name as “Hiley”.
