The live semi-finals conclude with 10 artists returning to the stage with an elevated performance of their original song for a chance to earn America's vote; one more redemption song is revealed, adding an 11th artist back into the competition.

That jury just lurves them an interchangeable white guy singing an inoffensive, not too peppy crossover song, don't they.

Yeah, there are so many songs about being seventeen, and this one is not a great example of the genre.

I liked Michael Boston's song better this time around but my top 5 of these would be ND, GA, PR, KS and ... I guess NY?

I was reasonably pleased that 3 of my top 5 from the first semi-final made it through. I have a feeling I'm not going to be excited for the winner but at least I have a few to root for.
