I loved both seasons!

I enjoyed this a lot. I particularly liked how the Rutherford company and family drama from the first season was almost entirely absent from this one - the story had moved on.

One joke that it took me a while to get: all of the various TV directors and producers for that Adirondacks show were played by the same actor - Jon Barinholtz (Marcus from Superstore). I thought they were lining up a joke about identical twins - but no, the joke was that every white guy in those roles looked the same.

Also Michael Greyeyes continues to be completely magnetic, I love his character and performance in this so much.

They could also swap in Ike pretty frequently.

I enjoyed the first season, but I really loved this one. This feels a little like The Good Fight, in that the first season centered the white character's plot in a way that seemed a little weird for the central conceit of the show, but the second season brought things into more balance.

Great second season - it seemed a bit more gentle (or kind?) to its characters than the first season, which I appreciated.

The first season was okay, a few rough spots but there's enough potential, it has a good heart. This season should be available in Canada on August 9 (GlobalTV and I hope available to buy on Apple) and I'm looking forward to it for at least a couple of reasons:

a) I really enjoy Kaniehtiio Horn's appearances as Tanis on Letterkenny (highlights; warning for language and a bit of [well-deserved] violence [against some neo-nazis]) so I was happy to see her added to the cast as business owner and mayoral candidate Feather Day.

b) the aformentioned Yellowstone-parody episode and the huge whiny meltdown and accusations that it may have cost Yellowstone any number of richly-deserved(?!??!) Emmy nominations (Schmieding's Twitter thread on the subject).

Goddamnit. I liked the more character-driven feel of Season 2, and I was really curious what they'd do with a third season.

I will miss Michael Greyeyes as Terry so much. I loved him absolutely destroying the Pretendian guy this season.

We actually paid money to subscribe to Peacock last month so we could see S2 of Rutherford Falls, and catch a couple of other things that looked interesting, and now I'm regretting sending any money their way at all.

Loved the White Fragility joke in the first episode. I think they sealed their fate when they made a “cancelled faster than a second season Netflix show” joke in the first season.
