A woman, Li Ronan, ends up cursing herself while she participates in an amateur "ghostbusters" video. Now the curse is going after her daughter, Dodo. She videotapes her attempts to protect her daughter.

Now streaming on Netflix.

An interesting take on the found footage genre. If you're familiar with the genre, you'll see where this is heading but it's still a fun trip. Definitely some really effective scares.

I mentioned this in another thread, but while some of this is kind of obligatory horror and it's not exactly deviating far from the possessed kid formula, it's still pretty effective! It can deliver heebee jeebees. And the mystery of the spooky tunnel is dangled pretty well, and then delivered pretty well, and I give it a lot of points for that, maybe it's my D&D brain.

I compare it to The Medium which was also formulaic, but not inspired, and felt like a slog.

This was good, but at fifteen minutes shorter, it could have been very good.
