Working from a fondness for 50's alien invasion flicks and an enormous pile of cocaine, Tobe Hooper remakes the 1950's classic of the same name as Invasion of the Body Snatchers for ten year-olds.

Rated 38% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

Currently streaming in the US on Shudder.

I highly recommend the original. Very stylish and scary if you're a kid.

I was exactly the right age for this thing when I saw it. Nothing was scarier than Louise Fletcher when she was being scary. I should probably watch this again.

Oh man, I need to re-watch this. I saw this as a kid growing up in the 80s and I thought it was pretty rad back then. I'm sure it will seem terrible now, but I kind of don't care.
