Revolutions: 10.1- The International Working Men's Association

In 1864, a group of working men formed an international association called The International Working Men's Association. (I didn't see a way to post by season for podcasts; I was thinking we could use this thread to discuss all of Season 10 on the Russian Revolution)

Oh, cool! I’ve been listening to Revolutions since the beginning! I was very sad that Mike made the Russian revolution his final installment. It’s a good, long series, though.

I hadn’t quite understood how complex the Russian revolution was. This series did a lot to fill in a lot of the empty spaces in my knowledge.

I tried starting with the first season and washed out - it was just more detail than I really care to know on the English revolution. But I'm interested enough in the Russian revolution to be in this one for the whole thing - I haven't finished yet. Really enjoying and although there is a lot of detail here as well, it is all constructed in a logical way to provide context.

Lenin sounds like an absolute dick so far...
