This is just a killer vines movie, but I found it pretty solid and watchable.

I read the book before the film came out. I wanted spooky ancient ruins. I got killer vines (that liked human semen... one of the only details I remember from the book). I was disappointed.

Watched it on a lazy couch day - moderately entertaining, and somewhat visceral.

I saw the movie then read the book. The killer vine stuff is pretty good, though in the book they are even more mind-fucky, in an almost campy slasher kind of way.
