I respected this without really enjoying it. Begos has some chops and it all flows really well. But Dez is just an awful human being, the drug shit is not as fascinating to me as it seems to be to Begos, and I generally don't care for vampire stuff.

I know a lot of people were turned off by the Gaspar Noe-kind of sensory assault, but that was the best part for me. I just didn't give a shit about these burnouts or vampires.

I'm curious to see Begos' next film, Christmas Bloody Christmas, which sounds more like something I could get into. So far, the films of his I have seen show he is talented, but also kind of annoy me.

And yes, that is the George Wendt in this movie.
