Oh man Momoa and O'Dowd? I might have to try and watch a non-horror film! (gasp)

Watched this last night! Cute and heartwarming, although it's a bit... juvenile. Like reading YA. I guess that makes it a good family movie for the holidays.

I have a question for some parental friends - what is the tension/suspense level on this, and what age level would this be appropriate for? I know that's all very subjective, but I'm trying to get a general idea.

I didn't know Jason Momoa has a pet pig. And they watched the movie together!

queensissy: The main topic is the death of a parent, plus there's a monster from a nightmare. Depends on your particular child(ren), but I wouldn't go below 12yo. Common Sense Media reviewers agree.
