When a strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must save the kingdom.

I just got around to watching this recently, and enjoyed it. It's full of the usual ridiculous action movie tropes of people surviving falls from great distances, and stab wounds that would cripple them (or at least lead to death by sepsis later). But it's directed by Le-Van Kiet (director of Furie) and has Furie star Veronica Ngo in a supporting role. And the fairy tale reversal is neat -- instead of the knight/prince fighting his way up the tower to rescue the princess, it's the princess fighting her way down the tower herself.

I saw this earlier in the year and it was fun enough. I recall being disappointed with the choreography/ stunts.

I enjoyed it, but I thought it sort of started to drag in the second half. Up until then the fight coordinator did a great job of keeping things fresh and presenting the Princess with new challenges and solutions, but after a while the fighting lost the Wick-like spark and just started to be a little too SMASH SMASH SMASH SMASH.
