All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite: Dynamite 1/25 and Rampage 1/27
January 25, 2023 4:43 PM - Season 4, Episode 17 - Subscribe
The company continues the build to Revolution while also paying tribute to the Jay Briscoe, as his brother Mark makes his AEW debut. In other storylines, David-vs-Goliath matches seem to be a theme of the night.
The announced card for tonight’s episode:
--AEW TNT Championship Match: Darby Allin (c) (w/ Sting) vs. Buddy Matthews of The House of Black (w/ Julia Hart)
At this point, Darby has singles victories over both Malaki Black and Brody King, so he demanded to also face Matthews as well
--Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal
--Jungle Boy & HOOK vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page and Matt Hardy of The Firm
--Ricky Starks & Action Andretti vs. Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho of The Jericho Appreciation Society
A singles match between Action Andretti & Daniel Garcia was also announced for Rampage, which will also tape tonight, so Andretti will have a high-workrate three hours.
--Ruby Soho vs. Toni Storm
This was supposed to be a three-way match with Britt Baker, but she was announced as injured (whether legit or kayfabe, no one is certain) so the match became one-on-one.
--“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson vs. ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champion “The Machine” Brian Cage of The Embassy
Danielson must win in order to face MJF at Revolution, meanwhile MJF has offerred Cage an envelope of cash to break Danielson's bones, win or lose.

Couldn't believe how red-eyed and near tears Lethal was for the final match... which it turns out was held on Jay Briscoe's birthday? Ian and Caprice also very emotional on commentary. A part of me was hoping that Tony Khan would precede the match with some announcement on what would happen with the ROH Tag Belts, but since there's an ROH PPV at the end of March I suppose it will become clear soon.
