[TRAILER] Maja, a Danish actress past her prime, falls in love with Leah, a young Jewish academic from London. Leah suffers a mysterious seizure, and Maja returns with her to London. There, she meets Leah's mother, an overbearing woman who could hold dark secrets.

This has a very warm love story at its core. And also a lot of keenly absorbed stuff about challenging moms. And interesting Jewish folklore.

I liked it but it's still hard not to be a little disappointed it couldn't live up to its terrific start.

Definitely recommended if you want to see a good romance.

Pretty interesting film. It definitely falls into three acts. Very well acted. It did seem like there were a couple of loose ends.
