That section was absolutely delightful: Linda struggling mightly to avoid saying "orgasm" on an NPR podcast, Barrie Hardymon totally egging her on.

I thought she was struggling to avoid saying ... um... something else.

That whole thing with Linda describing the sex scene was great. I haven't seen the movie, and really won't until maybe someday in the future if I stumble across it on late night TV and have insomnia. But, as a gay guy, I too have observed how almost all sex scenes are all about showing the boobs, leaving those of us who'd prefer to be ogling the dude's pecs and abs disappointed. If this movie manages to avoid that, well then good for it.

Yes, OK, I was dying to know what she was trying to not say there, because (maybe my memory is shaky BUT) she was talking about something that isn't often shown in conventional sex scenes and I feel like every sex scene I've seen is full to the brim of women moaning and gasping wildly while the men just grimly pump away. So really, it's female orgasm? I still kind of want to see this.
Also the whole thing about him doing mountain climbers on her while honking her boobs sounds hilarious.
Also also, I guess now I'm required to watch Jane the Virgin since it's gone past the horizon of "universally beloved" to "this is our only hope now."

This episode was so much fun. I was listening while running errands, and I had a stupid grin on my face walking down the street listening to everybody having such a good time.

I haven't been watching Jane the Virgin, but after hearing this I'll probably check it out. Sounds like the sort of thing I might like.

Enjoyable podcast this week and makes me more interested in a JLo movie than I ever thought I'd be.
