Not too many matches announced for tonight, because for damn certain at least an hour will be taken up by some of the world's greatest pro-wrestlers going HAM on each other in a double-ring cage:
Adam Cole and MJF vs. Daniel Garcia & Sammy Guevara (Jericho Appreciation Society)
Royal Rampage Battle Royal: 20-man Royal Rampage Battle Royal for a future AEW World Championship match
Six-man tag team match: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and Billy Gunn vs. QTV (QT Marshall, Johnny TV, and Aaron Solo) (with Harley Cameron)

This is the Blind Eliminator tag team tournament final for a future AEW World Tag Team Championship match, and I'm not saying that MJF had this all planned out in advance to prey on Adam Cole's heel tendencies and form a third(!!!) evil faction in this company, but if he did, IF HE DID, isn't this exactly what he would do?FTW Championship Match: Hook (c) vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry
I honestly think Perry might win this one, because what good is the FTW belt to a face?Blood And Guts Match: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta (Blackpool Combat Club), Konosuke Takeshita, and PAC (with Don Callis) vs. The Golden Elite (Kenny Omega, "Hangman" Adam Page, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, and Kota Ibushi)
This match is gonna so fucking rule. There's at least two people on each team who will race to the top of the cage and do dozens of high risk murders to each other. Never forget that Ibushi is banned for life from Budokan for doing a balcony moonsault... onto Kenny Omega.Announced for Rampage:

The booking was fine; the problem was that the director cut away from the most interesting parts of the match at exactly the wrong moment repeatedly throughout the event, including the fucking finish. Baffling.
I know he’s coming back from a recent injury but that was way more rust than I was expecting on Ibushi.
I may just be salty that there wasn’t a Golden Lovers kiss.

As soon as you put your show on TV, your booking has to include blocking.

I feel like now that Jack Perry has turned heel AEW is going to try to restore the balance by turning Sammy face, which is unfortunate because Sammy has zero face instincts. But they’ve been hinting it with Darby trying to convince him to be better. I suspect they’ll try to get him over by having Daniel Garcia betray him and that’s why Garcia keeps aborting his stupid dance; the dance is getting over and they can’t risk the audience siding with Daniel.
But the dance off had too much comedic potential so they busted the Garcia dance out again.

Honestly they might both turn face once they split from the JAS, which also seems to be hinted at. Garcia can be the one who can shift from looney to vicious on a dime, and Sammy can be the beloved high flier. They’d be a fun-house Hardy Boys!
I do also agree with Etrigan that even after almost four years, they still don’t have the TV crew trained to properly capture a busy match. More than once this show they had to spin up a replay for something the live camera had stupidly cut away from. To be honest, I didn’t know until this morning’s recaps that Moxley had surrendered at the end of the match, I thought the ref called it after Yuta passed out from being chain-choked.
