Why is Don so churlish with Roger on the flight to California?
Don is taking the business of going to California seriously, and Roger isn't.
I think Don's subconscious is realizing that what he will realize in a few episodes - he wants to move to California with Megan as a fresh start. She'll get pregnant and they'll be the happy family that he thinks that he wants (but always manages to ruin once he has it).

At the party, Don might be a bit unstuck in time. Megan is talking about her move to California that hasn’t happened yet. It’s possible she’s also talking about the miscarriage, but she may turn out to be pregnant in one of the last seven episodes.
