Although this episode was another flashback, at least this time it felt like it tied into what's happening on the beacon now? Even if they didn't do the whole cheesy "oh yeah you've been watching baby Aster all this time *wink*" thing at the end, it would have been more interesting than some of the other standalone episodes.
