After ending his life, a man is confronted by Death and tasked with experiencing death over and over again through 13 other lives to earn the chance to avoid Hell.

After failing for years to get a career, Choi Yi Jae (Seo In-Guk) has a terrible awful no good day that prompts him to end his life hoping to end his pain. Unfortunately, Death (Park So-dam) sees this choice as an affront and decides to punish him. He has to live 13 lives and manage to avoid dying in just one of them in order to save himself from Hell.

Featuring Kim Mi-kyung as Yi Jae's long suffering mother and Oh Jung-se, Sung Hoon, Kim Kang-hoon, Choi Siwon, Lee Do-hyun, and Oh Jung-se as some of Yi Jae's reincarnation.

Kinda like Quantum Leap except with a clear endgame and the protag has his own agenda some of the time. I enjoyed most of the ride, but the end seriously pissed me off as it undoes EVERYTHING the protag did during his various incarnations. So hooray he gets his life back, but how is he going to deal with the artist serial killer or the sociopathic rich and powerful Park Tae-woo? And what about all those other people whose lives he lived? Is he going to find a way to help bullied Kwon Hyeok-su? What about all the good he did as An Ji-hyeong?

Still a great cast and if you can handle the dark places the show goes, it's definitely entertaining.
