Oh man, I thought I was prepared for Eddie to lose but I wasn’t. We likely won’t see any rematch at Dynasty, because Eddie now has to focus on defending his ROH championship at Supercard.

The match took its time, each strike being paced and measured out. Okada managed to block or truck through most of Eddie’s offense, and Eddie could only dodge the big lariat once before it landed, still one of the most protected moves in wrestling.

People can say it’s wrong for Jericho to keep getting his storylines hooked into rising young talent, but you can’t say hey’s too precious to sell their offense. Eat a dozen suplexes, why don’t you?

Rosa tags herself in to earn a pin on Toni, which slightly peeves Deonna. Seems to be leading to Rosa getting a rematch for the title she never lost.

Ha ha that “I Quit” match was sick and extremely Canadian.

Whoops, it’s Kyle Fletcher and Powerhouse Hobbs, Will Ospreay only showed to cut a good promo and book himself a Shibata match for next week.

A friend pointed out that since Adam Copeland’s victory happened after the 2-hour show mark, it’s technically the first time a title has changed hands on Rampage in over a year.

The women’s street fight that main-evented the 3rd hour started off with some great visuals — I especially liked Julia Hart dragging a kendo stick behind her like an anime character— got a little bit draggy and messy in the middle, but made up for it by all four women totally committing to the hardcore stipulation. Honestly I’m surprised there wasn’t more blood besides a few scrapes and cuts, especially after those disturbing thumbtack spots.

If the match had a larger story, I suppose it was that Kris and Willow, despite being the hossier pair — witness Willow giving Skye a Death Valley driver from the apron through the tables — were not able to guard each other’s backs.
