I love how giddy the scientists and commentators from each of the local feeds get as totality approaches, almost in spite of themselves. It's cute!

We're not in the path of totality here, but we got to around... 94%, I think? I work at a public library, so we had glasses to give out, and everyone went outside and watched. It was a blast -- lots of families and little kids, dogs, someone was playing mellow music... we all applauded when it hit the peak. A really lovely experience!

I watched all the coverage and hearing people get excited and cheer every time was very uplifting.
