Melanie and Sugar get caught in a dicey situation - and make a new enemy. Sugar reunites with old friends, but he senses some are keeping secrets.

A restless stray. Breakfast smoothies. Will it blend? A forgotten appointment. Straight A student, son to a pillar of the community. A true friend helps you hide the bodies. Wiley learns about statistically rare deaths. Chit-chat downstairs, interrogation upstairs. The A team and the B team debrief to their handlers. Ghosting the polyglot party. Night swimming under a full moon.

The Société Polyglotte Cosmopolitaine was giving me a mix of Treadstone from the Bourne series and maybe a hint of Under the Skin (2013).

I can’t shake the feeling that whenever this show finally tells us what’s actually going on, it’s going to really piss me off.

Yeah. I'm enjoying it quite a bit (performances are great, interesting direction, cinematography, & production), but from about 20 minutes into episode one, I've been bracing myself for a post-post-post-modern rug-pull. It's gonna happen. You just cannot write a character like this in 2024 without a seriously dark or diametrically opposite flip side.

The moon definitely WASN'T full when they showed Davey's point of view as he got to Arizona. Not sure what's going on with the constant full moon shots.

Disappointed would be worse.

The one thing still giving me hope is Colin Farrell has been making great career choices lately.

I enjoyed the whole "parole violation" thing, until Sugar dressed too nice.

I like this whole "spies getting together to do good" movie concept thing!

Yeah, there was a part of me that sort of suddenly clicked that we're broadly OK with weirdly quasi-supernatural whatever-the-heck assassins for John Wick, so long as the story makes enough of an attempt to justify it, so... A Société Polyglotte Cosmopolitaine of ex-spies or maybe aliens or possibly ze Matrix (god only knows) of investigators... eh ok, sure, why not? I'm having fun, it looks like Colin Farrell is having fun, let's see where this goes.
