The Sinister Booksellers of Bath (which should be titled Maiden, Mother, Snail) revisits the lives of Susan and Merlin (from The Left-Handed Booksellers of London). Susan is being stalked by serial killer statues and her only hope is the secretive order of the Booksellers.

But can Susan trust them? After all booksellers have been known to kill the half-god/half-mortal and Susan is the first of that kind in centuries. To make matters worse, good old dad is waking up from his slumber and Susan knows that when he rises she will be permanently altered.

The Sinister Booksellers of Bath by Garth Nix creates a tale where detective story meets fantasy. For readers who enjoy Dr. Who.

While I'm more a fan of the Abhorsen books, I'll read anything by Garth Nix, and this one did not disappoint.
