For the folks who can't make it to All In at Wembley, AEW is putting on a show with two title defenses tonight. Plus, a three way match between teammates, Hangman Page extends his massive grudge to include Jay Lethal, HOOK is back, Mariah May premieres a film, and Swerve Strickland will probably devour Wheeler Yuta.

The announced card for Dynamite tonight:

--TBS Championship Match: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Hikaru Shida
--We’ll hear from Hook
--Kazuchika Okada and Claudio Castagnoli go face to face before their match at All In
--Mariah May premieres a film
--Three-Way Match for for the #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet match at All In: Kyle O’Reilly vs. Orange Cassidy vs. Roderick Strong
--“Hangman” Adam Page vs. Jay Lethal
--Swerve Strickland vs. Wheeler Yuta
--AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Young Bucks (c) vs. The Acclaimed

The Shida/Moné title match made me temporarily believe in an unscheduled title change, although in this case Shida honestly played herself by mixing it up with Kamille. When Britt Baker's music hit Kamille recalled Baker's previous ruse and attacked some front-row rando in a Sting mask -- my headcanon is that was Adam Cole -- only for Baker to approach from the other side.

Ideally, Darby's moody little video promo that does a great job putting Jack Perry in his place calling him a spoiled rich-kid filthy casual would NOT have run right before Darby came out in-person to get manhandled by Perry. Gotta let that simmer for a couple minutes, no?

So much of Roderick Strong's offense seems to involve throwing a grown man into another grown man. That three-way went longer than I thought, and contained the requisite spot of teammates O'Reilly and Cassidy having to battle each other. But I also liked the spot where Cassidy was stumbling and O'Reilly and Strong instinctively hit the Hi-Lo together.

Also, in terms of good character work, Cassidy snatched O'Reilly off of Strong to get a surprise pin, and O'Reilly got so mad at himself he started punching the mat, but was smart enough not to show anger at Cassidy for the opportunism.

Wheeler actually put up a better fight than I had imagined, but then Swerve was like "this isn't even my final form!" A bunch of House Call kicks to the noggin and then Danielson, like a fool, turned his back on Swerve to attend to Yuta.
