One of my absolute favorites. According to Daria Nicolodi, that famous shot where her character is shot in the head, she thought Argento was trying to kill her in an on set "accident." She did it anyway, but apparently told him beforehand he had ONE CHANCE to get it and if he didn't, there would be no retakes.

I should clarify-Nicolodi was Argento's long time partner (and mother to their child Asia Argento). This was after their separation hence her concern he was trying to kill her.

Argento's last masterpiece, on some days I feel like this is his best work - that ending is so perfect.

The 4K restoration is gorgeous. It's not to the level of Synapse's justifiably famous Supsiria restoration (though I can count maybe five that are) but it's top shelf all the same.
