...this is better than it needed to be. That's maybe damning with faint praise, but it's true. I'd give this a not bad 2.5 stars out of 5, a 3 if you are a fan of the pandemic horror microgenre. Aspinwall is compelling, the cinematography is good, and the vibes are good.
The onll real way it fails is in its insistence of being conventional feature length. If this were a one hour anthology episode or maybe a 65-70 minute movie, it could have been completely fat-free.
