Moral Orel

One of Adult Swim's less-cherished series, Moral Orel is a meek survey of modern America's interpretation of Christianity.

At the time I felt that the series dissolved into narrative incoherence as it progressed, but the bitter satire has held up remarkably well. All episodes currently viewable on Youtube. Greetings from Moralton!

One of my favorite shows in the genre of starts out bitterly hilarious and ends hilariously bitter.

Worth noting that it was created and voice-acted (at least the title role) by Dino Stamatopoulos, probably best known as Star-burns (i.e. the recurring role of the guy with star-shaped sideburns) from Community, but also a writer on many other comedy shows.

I really liked this series. If nothing else, I have it to thank for introducing me to The Mountain Goats.

Thanks for the recommendation; I'd never watched this. It is intensely bitter.
