The Problem: Toreadors were everywhere.

This installment starts out with getting caught up on things, but spends a lot of time talking about sobriety. The conversation lasts about 90 minutes.

Hello - How's it goin'? WOO! *soundgarden noises*; Merlin sounds sick; mute apps, old beige computers; cd/dvd drives and ports; The Apple Watch, The Pebble, and the Big Tech Watch.

Catching up on what's been going on! John and Merlin were on a cruise; all about the FLL airport; phone conversations; exiting a cruise ship; Ft. Lauderdale Art; Cruise Ship Art; Home decor as something reflecting who you're wanting to become; John tells of cardboard furnature; "Living in the Rich Neighborhood".

John the Young Drinker; John talks about A.A. and sobriety.

The section on A.A. was some of my favorite RotL in a while.

That was an incredible show. I finished listening to it earlier today and was blown away.

When I started college, I hung out with a couple friends that went to al-anon and I even tagged along to their functions, and we talked about things a bit but I never really "got" what AA was about, and I frequently ignored/discounted it all as thinly veiled "god stuff".

John's description of it was the first time I finally understood what the model is, how it works, and why it has lasted, and it was one of their best shows ever.

I went to Ikea to buy two things yesterday and I had a revelation that now more than ever we need "Keep Moving AND Get Out Of The Way" to be ingrained in the collective psyche. The discussion on the Ft Lauderdale airport gave me sympathy rage. Ugh, crowds.
