Niccolò Ammaniti is sooooooooooooo gooooood. His postapocalyptic TV series from 2021 Anna is one of my favorite shows ever. he has a real gift for writing children in a way that seems real an authentic, acknowledging their naivete, but not ignoring their darkness.

I loved this movie. I'm a jaded, heartless old fool rarely moved to tears by a movie but the end of this one just about got me. I should really watch it again.
