I would be interested to know what other folks thought of this one, as it looks great, is very atmospheric, and has some real moments... and yet it kinda didn't do much for me.

I'm so done with this film is a metaphor for grief and trauma and I am very nearly as tired of can you tell which things are really happening and which are mental illness? The main character wasn't someone I could connect with at all.

My suspicion is that most folks will like it either far more than I did... or far less.

This was a DNF for me. I started watching it one night and yeah after 40 minutes I turned it off and went to bed. Like you, I was deeply underwhelmed.
