So relieved the "it just didn't work out" was a fakeout and reporting to HR was just...reporting to HR.

I was in quite a mood when I watched this, and Janine's whole deal did not help.

I loved the podcast investigation into whether Jacob can read - "then why are you always making us read out loud?"

As a Baltimorean, I am fully invested in Janine's plan to take the kids to the National Aquarium. I need an Abbott goes to Baltimore episode! Philly has a pretty good aquarium too, but it's technically in Jersey.

I cackled at the "we got a white kid now, do you want us to get their parents involved?" line/callback. It was a very light and fast episode, I wonder what direction they're going to take the relationship with, since this show has a habit of zigging when we expect it to zag.

So many great jokes in this episode. I love that this is a single-camera observational comedy but also has the rapid-fire punchlines of an old-school sitcom.
