I did love both of these teams. The walls were definitely more British, I hadn't heard of any of those clothing brands other than Burbury, and the Hackney one was entirely over my head. Fun teams though, I was shocked that no one got Apocalypse Now, the Conversation apparently a sadly forgotten movie!

Victoria's signoff though was awesome, I do love the quips.

I had no idea C45 tapes existed till that question prompted me to Google them. The only cassettes I remember from my youth are C60s, 90s and 120s. I'm still at a loss to think why anyone would have wanted a tape with 22.5 minutes per side.

I am old enough to remember the C45 and got that on 2 points, having lived near the M45 also.

I was also surprised that the sort of quizzers you get on OC would not know stuff like the Coppola question straight off the bat. And with one of them remembering the Cazale trivia item to some extent too.

To match the length of a vinyl LP?

p.s. thank you Carillon for posting about this show frequently, I often forget to watch it (since AFAIK it has to be tracked down on YouTube in the US) and I’m always happy to be reminded.

The wheelsongenius youtube channel has them, or links to the dailymotion upload if they get taken down ftw!

I doubt it. I was a teenager in the1970s, so my friends and I taped one another's vinyl LPs all the time. Like everyone else, we used C90 tapes for this, which neatly fitted a full album on each side. Why would you want a format that forced you to eject the tape and turn it over half way through?

Anyone else notice VC's (deliberate?) misattribution of Numberwang to Armstrong & Miller rather than he hubby's own Mitchell & Webb show? I think she did it just for the fun of making David spit out his tea as he watched at home!

Yes! I even looked it up because I know it from the sketch show, but was thinking did they borrow it from Armstrong and Miller? But no, it must have been a joke I think.
