The untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but who once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.

Thought this was surprisingly good: fun with a bit more depth than expected. I liked the way Orion Pax / Optimus Prime wasn't a missing heir or aristocrat, but a rebellious miner leading a revolt.

My ten year old son loved it. However his nephews didn't want to come: the once mighty grip of this franchise on tween boys seems to have disappeared like the snows of yesteryear.

I've been showing my 5/6 year old the original series (I guess it's called G1?) and he's really enjoyed it. I'm hoping to rent this this weekend, it'll be a nice bookend to the fact that we're coming up to the original Transformers movie soon in his original watch. Erm.

I really enjoyed this. They did a great job handling Megatron's dark turn. Orion Pax wasn't a very good friend, and defending Sentinel, while they were cutting troopers down left and right wasn't called for. I can see why Orion became Optimus, but yeah, Megs was right, too.
