This was a fun watch, in its way. Every individual scene is compelling and done well and you do root for Azrael. Without dialogue, there isn't a ton of characterization and the ending they were going for doesn't really land at all.

Still, depending on your level of enjoyment at seeing Samara Weaving once again covered in blood and alternately fleeing for her life or killing some folks real good, you may find this a solid watch.

No time to take a breath during this one! Phew. I agree with you about the ending - I wish they had landed that. I still very much enjoyed it.

Right??!?

I mean, if you have a no dialogue film, adding to the mythology at the last second is a tough sell.
