Great episode. The Blade (or Grace Jones with a sword) costume and bit at the end was my favorite though.

I'm a person where people usually can't figure out my costume. I had two costumes this year and nobody got what either of them are, which was to be expected since (a) one is a sloth costume and if you're not in a fur suit people don't get that sort of thing, and (b) the other is from a movie very few people watched. Come to think of it, even if I do make a costume from a popular movie, which I did most of the time the last few years, most people don't get what it is either. So I have big sympathy for Janine and Gregory putting such work into such cool, intricate costumes--FROM A POPULAR MOVIE--and then get "why didn't you just dress up as dinosaurs?" I get why people don't recognize it on sight and that you have to explain the costume. I get their disappointment of "fine, we just bought peanut butter and jelly costumes from Spirit Halloween," then being all "fuck this, we're gonna do our own thing even if it doesn't win," and then getting the most ho-hum reactions ever. But they did their own glorious weird thing, and I appreciate it, even if nobody else does.

Melissa and Sweetcheeks as a couples costume was the best, though. Nothing's gonna top a guinea pig in a wig and leather jacket.

Jacob could've saved himself a lot of annoyance if he'd just started saying he was Ryan Seacrest. Why was AE propping Pat Sajak so much anyway? He's not from Philadelphia so I could not understand what the point was.

Sweet Cheeks in the little red Melissa wig stole the episode.
