Anna Maxwell Martin is fine in this but I can't help feeling the part was really conceived for Olivia Colman.

Haven't heard of this - watching the IMDb trailer (w/ the sound off), I thought "Oh, it's a comedy?" Then I saw Karl Pilkington in the cast list and my suspicions were confirmed.

After watching 8 seasons of Monk earlier this year the social anxiety aspect of this series didn't seem too fresh, but I liked virtually everything else about it.

I give anything with David Mitchell in it a try, and this didn't disappoint. Hopefully a second series is in the works.

David Mitchell says: “I’m delighted that John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor has failed to escape the clutches of the Cambridge police and will have to continue to face up to the city’s alarming conundrum-based crime wave.”
Never change, David.

Pedantzilla a fair assumption to make, though he's only in dramatic scenes, and later on in the season. I really liked this, there's nothing particularly new or especially interesting being done, but it's all put together really well. I feel like it should, in all honesty, be pretty bland, but instead I find it very satisfying to watch.
