Pantheon on Netflix

Pantheon is on Netflix now! Let's all watch it together!
Season 1 of Pantheon just appeared on Netflix, and is shooting up the the JustWatch daily streaming charts right now.
In an attempt to be at the forefront of the zeitgeist for once, I suggest we (or as many of us as are interested) watch season 1 this month. There's already a thread for season 1, just waiting to be revived.

I'm not typically a fan of anime or anime-inspired media, but I watched this and loved it. Unfortunately, I had to pirate the second season because AMC's accountants decided that was a better financial decision than actually letting people see the entire thing. I hope S02 eventually does show up on Netflix or somewhere else, because it does complete the story.

This has been in my watchlist for a while after hearing some casual recommendations of it by people I follow, but a recent recommendation from one of my regular podcasts pushed it over the line when I was looking for something new last week. I wound up getting through all of S1 last week and binging S2 over the weekend, so now I can safely say that this is at least my favorite Western animated show of all time.
S1 is very reminiscent of a later-career William Gibson techno-thriller, and S2 takes some beautifully wonderfully wild swings as it goes into its conclusion. The show manages to mix together some of my favorite elements of Serial Experiments Lain, Asimov's The Last Question, Unbelievable Gwenpool, The Matrix, and it all somehow works. I'd dock S2 a point or two not because of the ending, but the fact that the cat and mouse game between the protagonists and antagonists during episodes 2-5 was merely good instead of being incredible like the rest of the show was.
I have not been able to stop thinking about it after finishing it yesterday.
