All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite: December 4, 2024

Yours truly forgot completely about the Dynamite before Thanksgiving last week (apologies!), but this week's episode will be a lesson in consequences as Max Caster pays the bill for mouthing off to Swerve Strickland. The Continental Classic Tournament continues, Anna Jay wants to prove that a few losses haven't shaken her, and Jay White has a first-time ever against PAC.

I did not imagine that a promo for Bandido's return to AEW would include a segment shot at Wild West City ("just an hour's drive from NYC!")

Happily, the Penelope Ford/Anna Jay match was not a squash -- both women kept it competitive. Anna wins with a Gory Bomb and immediately calls out Mercedes Moné, because we can't have two people with the same finisher.

Also, those watching the international feed during the commercial break got to hear Daddy Magic Matt Menard complain to Tony Schiavone about unanswered text messages ("Green bubbles, Tony!") and about how Anna never chipped in when she road-tripped with Menard and Cool Hand Angelo.
