[TRAILER] Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) investigates when young women around London turn up murdered, each with a finger severed. Scotland Yard suspects a madman, but Holmes believes the killings to be part of a diabolical plot.

Could be a good time to break out the box set. 14 films iirc. I love them all.

Still, there's some fun in the way they show the woman in green's hypnotism. And Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce are great. You also get the expected lovely B&W cinematography and very professional production design of a Universal film of the era. Nice time, basically fit into my lunch break.
