Stuff You Should Know: Is there treasure on Oak Island?

Off Nova Scotia, the tiny spit of land called Oak Island has been host to waves of treasure hunters for more than 200 years. Some of them lost their lives in the search for a treasure reputedly buried in a deep pit. But is anything really there?

Man, I so wish there was something there. I was *fascinated* by Oak Island as a kid.

Me too, probably too much "In Search of..." as a kid. This is one of those myths that I wished had turned out to be true.

I caught once episode of the reality show, and it was pretty much what I was expected. Greatly disappointing.

I do wonder what the origin of those finger caves are though.
